New Years Eve

New Year’s Eve we decided to celebrate! After all it was the Vigil of the Solemnity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Mother of God
DD cooked a beautiful meal. We all waited in joyful anticipation.
The table was set with good linen and bonbons were brought out for our entertainment

Silly riddles are usually a feature of this celebration.

Much much later when the house was quiet dd and I drove to Midnight Mass at our parish.
A beautiful start to the new year!
