Jesus always spent time with the poor and the rejected of society, teaching us that true compassion is often where people never think to look.
Look for an opportunity to serve the poor and follow in Jesus’ footsteps.
Mother Teresa showed never-ending compassion. Here is a quote from her:
” At the end of life we will not be judged by how many diplomas we have received, how much money we have made, how many great things we have done. We will be judged by ‘I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was naked and you clothed me, I was homeless and you took me in.’ Naked for human dignity and respect. Homeless because of rejection….And hungry for love."

I love lent...such a good time for reflection.
I did not home school my children but my youngest (now 6'2" and 18) attended a Rudolph Steiner school ...so special it was.
I believe I'm one of the very few non-Catholic people to have been a school counsellor in a Catholic High School in Australia. I did that for about 2 or 3 years ...about hmmmm 10 years ago now.
